Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our sale! In exchange for working a volunteer shift, you will receive early shopping privileges. If you volunteer and are also a consignor, you will receive 65% of your sales in addition to attending the Volunteer pre-sale. Too busy to volunteer? Send your husband in your place; we are always looking for some manly help during set-up and clean-up. Below you will find a brief description of the duties required for each shift.

Shift Descriptions

Please understand that we need your full attention during your shift. Therefore, NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED WHILE VOLUNTEERING. We reserve the right to reassign specific shift duties as needed.

Friday, March 23, 2:00pm-5:00pm
This is our main set-up shift. You will be moving and building racks and shelving, and helping to prepare the facility for consignor drop-off. This is a very physical shift, and will take place partially outdoors.

Friday, March 23, 5:00pm-8:00pm
This shift will complete the set up work as described above. You will also assist with consignor check-in and quality control, help place concierge-tagged items on the floor, and help arrange and organize the sales floor. If you are also a consignor, you will NOT be able to place your own items during your shift. Please plan to arrive at 4:30pm to place your items on the floor. If you have more items than can be placed in thirty minutes, please select a different volunteer shift.

Saturday, March 24, 8:00am-11:00am and 10:00am–1:00pm
These shifts cover our Main Sale Event. We will need volunteers to greet shoppers at the door, work the hold bay, and help with check-out. In addition, we will need volunteers in each section of the sale to answer questions, assist shoppers, and help keep the sales floor neat and organized. You may also be asked to serve as a door guard. All volunteers must leave the building at 1:00pm when we close for lunch.

Saturday, March 24, 2:30pm-5:30pm
This shift will have the same responsibilities as the Main Sale shifts. However, volunteers for this shift will be working the half-price sale. If you work this shift, you may arrive at 2:00pm to shop the half-price sale; however, you must finish shopping and be ready to work by 2:30pm (you can set items aside if you DEFINITELY plan to purchase them and pay at the end of your shift). If you anticipate needing longer than thirty minutes to shop, please select a different volunteer shift. Please note that you will not be allowed to pick up your unsold items on Saturday evening after your shift. Item pick up will be held on Sunday morning only.

Saturday, March 24, 5:30pm-8:30pm
A limited number of item sort shifts are available on Saturday evening. However, only volunteers who are NOT consigning, or volunteers who have elected to have ALL of their unsold items donated after the sale are eligible to work this shift.
